Danar Hadi Batik Museum, Looking Beauty of Batik up to Learning Batik

Danar Hadi batik is one of famous manufacturer in the city of Solo. In addition to producing and innovating products batik, Danar Hadi also preserve this cultural products by establishing a museum, namely Danar Hadi Batik Museum.

Opened in 2002 by Vice President Megawati Sukarnoputri, the museum store share the style and motifs of batik cloth along with the values of its history. Dutch batik cloth is one of the important collection of Batik Danar Hadi's Museum.

This fabric is affected by the variety of shades and colors typical of Europe, brought by Europeans during the Dutch colonization. In addition there is the motif of batik Djawa Hokokai. Types of batik cloth is influenced by a range of shades and colours peculiar to Japan, where at that time colonize Indonesia.
